2 Stockton Street, San Francisco CA

Designed as KMD Architects, 1988

John Ellis Project Designer with David Hobstetter

2 Stockton Street is a prominent corner on Market Street next to the 1909 era Phelan Building. The design is for a mixed-use project that celebrates the corner and articulates the facades with a top, shaft and base. The project meets the allowed height and maximum bulk limits. Giant order windows relate in scale with the adjacent building.
