A feasibility study to explore the potential of building a highrise residential tower opposite the newly opened Transbay Terminal in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District. The design consists of a cluster of towers capped by an array of solar panels.
The design was ahead of its time since in the post pandemic era Downtown San Francisco desperately needs more residents downtown to compensate for the loss of daytime workers.
A highrise residential tower in the midst of the Downtown Financial District, located opposite the new Transbay Terminal.
The site occupies the corner of Mission and Fremont Streets.
Highrise, midrise and lowrise elements define the massing.
Plans show the articulation of the building as the tower rises.
